Staffing Specialist - Human Resources Corporate Services

Staffing Specialist will partner with Corporate Managers to develop, implement and facilitate recruitment/placement and staffing strategies. The incumbent will build productive relationships with key professional, technical and management talent as he/she recruits for the various Corporate Departments; and builds trust as a knowledgeable recruiting consultant to ensure staffing needs are being met. Further, the incumbent will support the UPHS's overall Human Resource strategies. Position will also be responsible for recruiting high-level managers and assisting with executive searches. Incumbent will be responsible for assisting with special projects but not limited to AAP/EEO, diversity initiatives, process improvements, temporary workforce and pipeline strategies.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent working experience required. Five plus years of direct recruiting experience. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Results-oriented with excellent customer service skills. Thorough attention to detail. Ability to problem solve and prioritize. Exceptional influencing, negotiating, communication, organization and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task and manage high volume recruiting. Keen attention to and ability to maintain discretion. Ability to work independently, as part of a team, as well as to interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to learn new technology quickly.
