Strategic HR Business Partner

This position can be located in Austin, Tx; Atlanta, GA; or Tempe, AZ

Strategic Human Resources Business Partner ? Corporate Headquarters, San Jose CA

? Partner with and support Business unit leadership and employees by providing human resources consulting to contribute to the achievement of strategic and tactical goals and objectives.

? Partners with management and HR team in the successful implementation, execution and ongoing administration of key enterprise-wide Human Resources programs.

? Assesses the need for talent in relation to business changes, including the need for specific knowledge, skills and abilities. Also partner with the staffing organization to insure a viable stream of top talent is available to achieve short- and long-term business goals and objectives.

? Provides coaching and feedback on how to improve individual and organizational performance to meet strategic and tactical goals and objectives. Act as consultant to employees and managers to identify and address root causes of human resources issues and drive to through until effective solutions are implemented.

? Partner with HRD to identify specific individual and organizational needs relating to leadership and employee development and implement programs to address those needs.

? Develop a thorough understanding of the business and their needs and future direction in order to communicate HR implications to the business unit management team.

? Manage HR related projects in areas relating to compensation, rewards & recognition, organizational development, performance management.

Specifications

Degree in Business / Human Resources, or other Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years HR Generalist experience.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and follow up on assigned projects; strong organizational and prioritization skills

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to influence at executive levels

Strong process orientation/mindset

Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Effective communication skills - both written and oral

 

Ability to Travel to include International Travel

 

5+ years HR experience (including salary/bonus planning, employee relations, staffing, performance management etc)
