We are currently seeking an experienced business professional to lead our team as the Staffing Manager in our Chicago Loop office.? Put your knowledge and expertise to work by providing a high level consultation and service to our clients and employees and in delivering the legendary client service that has become Salem?s hallmark.? You will be responsible for the recruiting and retention of Assignment Employees to fill a wide variety of positions ranging from short-term assignments to direct-hire positions.? You will also meet and provide consultative services with top clients and develop recruitment strategies to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities include:

??????? Recruiting and retention of Assignment Employees through the internet, job fairs and referrals to ensure a sufficient number of Assignment Employees are available to meet our clients immediate needs,

??????? Conducting behavioral and skill-based interviews and making hiring decisions,

??????? Consulting with clients to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates for open requisitions,

??????? Providing performance evaluations and counseling of employees,?

??????? Developing and retaining business by building relationships and providing outstanding customer service through consistent client interface interacting both in person, via email and by telephone,

??????? Actively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service and communications and exhibit skills consistent with Salem?s core values of Action, Urgency and Excellence.

Must Haves:

??????? 4 to 10 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, Customer Service Manager, in Human Resources or as a Recruiter.

??????? Aptitude for developing business and maximizing relationships.

??????? Sense of urgency, persistence, and take-charge attitude

??????? Ability to handle multiple open requisitions.

??????? Strong verbal and written communication skills.

??????? The ability to manage multiple initiatives, set priorities and work under a deadline.

Nice to Haves:

??????? Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite.

??????? Knowledge of Behavioral and Skills-based Interviewing
