Temporary Human Resource Assistant
Our client has a need for a Temporary HR Assistant. This position is to start asap thru December 2006. Hours are 8-5, Monday thru Friday. Main responsibilities include the following: updating job descriptions, preparing payroll/benefits packets for new employees, conducting screening interviews, conducting reference checks, establishing an employee data base in support of the new Time and Attendance System, preparing for benefits open enrollment, coordinating handbook distribution and receipt tracking.
Requirements, College degree preferred. 1-2 year experience as a HR assistant is preferred, but someone with the right attitude could be trained. $15-16/hr DOE. Background check required.
