HR Recruitment Coordinator 

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment of the Firm's administrative department staff through the manager level(i.e. IT, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, etc) recruiting, hiring and internal transfers, and will ensure compliance with the Firm's Affirmative Action Plan and all related Federal, State and Local guidelines.  Interviews applicants for Exempt and Non-Exempt positions, refers qualified applicants to appropriate supervisor; performs testing, conflicts screening, reference and background checks for applicants; counsels internal candidates inquiring about promotions and transfers, and refers those qualified to appropriate supervisor; conducts new hire orientations and exit interviews; maintains and updates job posting board, internet recruitment web sites, Support Staff web page and the Hiring Brochure; completes new hire and change of status paperwork; maintains and updates applicant tracking process; coordinates special programs/projects; processes garnishments, salary advances and subpoenas; performs other related duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

 

 

? Knowledge of  Human Resources field and procedures

? Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word and Excel) and/or WordPerfect

? Familiarity with integrated HRIS system (Lawson a plus)

? Uses listening skills

? Excellent interpersonal skills

? Ability to communicate effectively

? Ability to organize/prioritize work

? Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters

? Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities

? Ability to deal courteously/effectively with others

? Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

? Bachelor's Degree

? Minimum of two years of related recruitment experience
