Total Rewards Manager

Universal Compression is one of the largest natural gas compression services companies in the United States with sales and service locations in every major domestic natural gas producing region, and a rapidly growing presence internationally with operations throughout Latin America, in Canada, Australia, China, Russia, Thailand, Tunisia and Nigeria.

 We have significantly increased the size and scope of our operations through internal growth and mergers and acquisitions as we continue our expansion into global markets.  Due to our consistent growth in multiple facets of our business, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated HR professional in this newly created position.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

 POSITIONS SUMMARY

The design and implementation of a revised Total Rewards program associated with a growth-oriented organization.  This will be accomplished in part by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees:

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

? Compensation strategy, program design, implementation, education and administration

? Benefits strategy, program design, implementation, education, cost management and administration

? Manager/supervisory education on compensation and benefits programs, philosophy and administration

? Working with our Board of Directors

? Job evaluations, market surveys, job profiling

? HRIS systems and automation

? HR budget development and monitoring

? Supervise, train and evaluate Human Resources staff

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? Must support and comply with all company safety and environmental policies and procedures

? Performs other work-related duties assigned

 EDUCATION REQUIRED

 

? Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.  Masters degree preferred

 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

? Minimum of seven years professional experience in human resources, including a minimum three years supervising and managing staff
