Trainer-Operations Train & Dev
The Trainer will develop, coordinate and deliver new and existing training programs to specific client groups. This individual represents the Human Resources Operations Training department as new and existing systems and procedures are implemented and will develop the appropriate training approach to ensure that project goals are met.
Partner with internal clients to design new and revised training projects. Utilize new assessment tools when necessary to identify and analyze clients' needs. Design instructor led, on-the-job and computer-based training programs. Develop materials to include leader's guides, end-user manuals, job aids and reference aids. Courses include systems training via classroom. Facilitate or co-facilitate courses utilizing sound adult learning methods. Seek out opportunities (on the job and external) to keep training design, development and delivery skills current and effective. Master and apply adult learning principles and effective facilitation skills. Use peer, manager and customer feedback (in addition to formal course evaluations) as a way to ensure effectiveness. Utilize questionnaires, surveys, forums and one-on-one meetings to analyze post training effectiveness on the job. Enter data of training information into PeopleSoft to track training activity. Provide support for post-training endeavors (surveys, follow-up and correspondence).
Required Skills:
Bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree or relevant work experience. Two plus years of training and education experience with computer software applications. Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills. Ability to travel and work on a flexible schedule. Ability to interact with all levels of employees. Must be organized, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong teamwork skills. Proficient computer skills in MS Office. Prior experience developing multimedia training solutions is preferred.
