Training & Personnel Specialist

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio has an opening for a Training and Personnel Specialist. As a member of the Administrative Services Department, the job incumbent provides a full range of human resources services to our judges, our management team, and our staff. Responsibilities include: assessing training needs, designing and facilitating training programsplanning, developing, and implementing personnel policiesadministering benefits programs by providing updated information to staff and responding to queriesmanaging recruitment and selection functionsadvising managers on personnel-related issuesserving as the court?s Employment Dispute Resolution (EDR) Coordinatorprocessing personnel and payroll actions

 

We are looking for an individual with at least three to five years human resources experience, including training and development, computer proficiency in a windows environment, strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or related field is required. This position is located in Cleveland, Ohio, and requires travel to the court?s Akron, Canton, Toledo, and Youngstown offices.
