Job Description:

? Plan, schedule, and implement curriculum including identification of participant needs, selection and/or development of appropriate training materials, and arranging for internal and external presenters and instructors. 

? Deliver training through presentation and facilitation such as Social Styles, Mentoring, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Conflict Management, Team Building, Delegation, Giving and Receiving Constructive Feedback, and Performance Management.

? Develop a supportive relationship with program participants to encourage networking and career development.

? Research and analysis of organizational development needs.

? Evaluate and enhance program effectiveness.

? Provide program support and training as needed in areas of the Scientist & Engineer Development Program (SEDP), Staff Engagement, Management Skills Development Program (MSDP), and Staff and Organizational Development.

? Through planning, analysis, budget control, and self-assessments, ensure that Human Resource programs are of high quality and are in alignment with short-term and long-term organizational goals.

Minimum Requirements:

BS minimum, MS preferred; Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field.  Certifications in Achieve Global, DDI, Wilson Social Styles as well as PDI Profiler or other 360 degree instruments desired.

 

Qualifications:

? 3-5 years training / organizational development experience, preferably in a research and development or corporate environment.

? Exceptional communication, organizational development and problem solving skills are required.

? Experience in developing and delivering management, leadership and staff training is required.

? Experience leading and implementing important program development activities with a broad understanding of HR would be a plus.

? Demonstrated success in defining and implementing strategies and managing large programs and projects to support these strategies would be a plus.

? Demonstrated ability to:

o Think strategically

o Manage execution

o Build organizational relationships

o Display seasoned technical and business development

o Demonstrate adaptability and personal learning
