VP of Contract Sales

DESCRIPTION:

I.T. Staffing firm is looking for a Senior VP of Contract Services to head a contract staffing division.

 

The VP will be responsible for building a contract staffing division using new business development techniques (cold calling, referrals and existing business leads).  The candidate will need to have a successful track-record of building relationships with Fortune 100 clients within Finance (Banking, Insurance, Funds and Investment Management) and/or OCT (Communications, Media, Technology) industries, selling to senior executives and technology staffing decision makers.

 

Reporting to the Director, this new position is to build and grow revenues within the NY/NJ/CT territory by targeting current ?beachhead? client relationships for expansion, and hunting for, qualifying and closing new prospects in targeted industry verticals.

 

The ideal candidate will begin their career by establishing new relationships with prospective clients and utilizing his/her existing client base to build the consulting division.

 

Future career growth opportunities include Regional Sales Director, VP of US sales, SVP North American Sales, Managing Director of US operations, or President.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Expand relationships with current clients in the region by focusing on analytics solutions sales and senior executive decision makers, respond to leads generated from marketing activities and inside sales, build and grow revenues of I.T. contract services, achieve personal yearly quota of $2MUSD in contract staffing earned services revenues, leverage and build upon sales methodologies and processes, Build out a successful professional services team to support solutions sales.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

6+ years of I.T. consultative sales experience, satisfied financial services and telecom senior executive sales and marketing customers, 5+ years of sales management & leadership experience, proven ability to build/grow a successful sales team, ability to demonstrate continuous year over year exceeding quota selling I.T. services with transactions values $2M, experience within industry verticals including Banking, Funds, Insurance, and Telecom etc as above, Demonstrate Sales process for identifying, tracking and closing complex sales, Existing network of Marketing contacts within target region, Experience and skills in both hunting and farming.
