Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Development
NO RELOCATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
Our fast paced, progressive company is currently seeking a Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Development. The selected candidate will direct and manage all aspects of Employee Development and Human Resources strategy formulation and tactical implementation. This will Include managing Employee Development initiatives (employee training, development, retention and recognition) and core Human Resources functions (policy & procedures development and implementation, all aspects of employee benefits, compensation, staffing and retention, performance management, HRIS, and employee relations). This position will be the key driver of company Employee Excellence Strategies and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage all aspects of employee excellence strategy formulation and implementation as well as integration into overall business strategies. Major focus on developing and implementing all employee training programs/management, as well as employee career management and retention strategies and initiatives. Direct employee satisfaction research and manager?s 360? feedback efforts. Create an employee advocacy approach to managing human resources within the business. Serves as central resource for internal all-employee communications. Present ideas, evaluations and improvement recommendations for Employee Excellence to the Officer team on a regular basis.Manage all aspects of Human Resources strategies, responsibilities and initiatives, including recruiting and staffing, performance management, managing employee benefits and compensation strategies and plans, HRIS administration, managing all employee related legal and regulatory requirements, and providing consultative employee relations support to the Officer team, hiring managers and employees as needed.Manage team by providing strong leadership, management, career development, rewards and recognition, effective resource allocation, training and development initiatives.Manage all Rewards and Recognition initiatives. Evaluate rewards and recognition programs annually and develop and implement program improvements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEmployee advocacy attitude and experience requiredBachelors degree required. In addition a Masters Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.5+ years management experience required8+ years experience in employee development, training and/or Human Resources including employee recognition, and communications, policy development, benefits and compensation, performance management, employee relations, HRIS, staffing and retention; employee rewards experience preferred2+ years marketing experienceAbility to positively interact with all levels of management and employeesProven strategic thinking skills in an HR environmentStrong written communication skills including policy developmentExcellent oral communication and presentation skillsExcellent people and team management skillsExcellent organization skills
