WORKERS' COMPENSATION & BENEFITS SPECIALIST

Westview Services, a large non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities, operates over 30 programs throughout Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.

Westview is currently seeking an outstanding, positive, dynamic, creative, results-oriented individual to lead and manage a strong workers' compensation, safety and benefits program for Westview Services Inc. in Anaheim.? This position will handle all workers' compensation, benefits and safety efforts throughout the company and will report to the Human Resources Director and work closely with operations management.? Additionally, this position has a real opportunity to improve employee satisfaction, decrease losses, improve safety programs and to make a significant difference to the clients we serve.

QUALIFICATIONS:

?Bachelor's degree2+ years of California workers' compensation and claims management experience a plus2+ years of benefits experience a plusExperience with non-exempt health care service employees a plusSelf-insured workers' compensation program experience a plusMulti-site experience a plusKnowledgeable of HR/employment lawExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, customer service, organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyProficiency in MS Office and the InternetGood judgmentStrong work ethicAbility to travel throughout Southern California and occasionally out-of-state
