16443 Principal Training Specialist - Systems

Job Description: Are you an innovator? Join us! Boston Scientific, the leader in less-invasive medical technologies, is currently searching for a Principal Training Specialist with an expertise in Clinical Systems - including EDC, Safety, Adjudication. This newly created role is located in our brand new Marlborough, MA facility.

Principal Training Specialist- Systems Support

Has overall responsibility for developing and managing the core curriculum designed to support multiple clinical systems. This position will partner with various stakeholders to assess design needs, determine appropriate delivery methodology and identify resource requirements for each of these systems. The systems currently in scope are EDC, Safety and Adjudication

Responsibilities include:


Identify the learning needs of all end users (internally and externally) for the following clinical systems: EDC, Safety, Adjudication

Develop, implement and maintain training programs in support of all end users including the development and roll out of self-paced, e-learning modules

Plan and schedule training classes as required

Conduct training classes for internal and external users as required

Ensure that training modules are tracked and managed appropriately within the Training Records System

Align the design and development methodologies to ensure a consistent approach to the creation of learning collateral and tools

Develop an integrated project plan that includes annual deliverables, progress to date and metrics

Provide expertise in the areas of learning needs assessment, design, delivery and evaluation to achieve desired business outcomes

Competency Expectations:

Selected applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and excellent interpersonal, facilitation, presentation and communication skills. Individual must have 3-5 years experience in developing and delivering training materials. Knowledge of Clinical processes and systems is a plus. Some travel required. A Bachelor's degree is required.
