Responsibilities

The Systems Analyst position will provide development and maintenance support for both recently released and legacy applications. The successful candidate will be required to work with team members to gather system requirements, analyze, develop, and implement solutions following established standards and guidelines.

 

This position will provide primary support for various system functions in natural gas transportation applications. This position will require a strong understanding and aptitude for quickly learning gas pipeline business processes. This position has an on-call requirement where systems problem determination and resolution at all levels is necessary.

 

Qualifications2-5 years experience and proven proficiency in Java and Object Oriented methodologies2-5 years using use case design, Rational Rose, and IBM Web sphere. 2-5 years Oracle8i/9i, SQL, and stored procedures - will write complex, long, detailed stored proceduresAn excellent customer service attitudeGood communications skills; both verbal and writtenGood organizational skills and ability to cope with and manage a constant changing environmentNatural gas industry experience is a strong plusA Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

 

Salary:     This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.

Education Level:    Bachelor's Level Degree

Relocation Information: Client will not pay relocation costs for this position

Travel Percentage:    Less than 25 %
