Duties include incident handling, incident response and escalation management in a 24x7 environment. The SOC Analyst will also perform routine actions in order to help manage customer security devices. Further, the Security Analyst will be placed on-call in order for the SOC to surge to handle emergencies. Finally, the SOC Analyst will be responsible for other duties as assigned.

Specific tasks include:
Triage inbound security events
Act as the Engineer on Duty
Manage Change Requests from Customer Issues
Monitor Correlation Metrics
Update Signatures on Customer IDS devices
Update Policies on Customer Firewalls
Update Policies on Customer Scanners
Review Security Updates
Writing
Assist with Integration Engineer Duties
Assist with Managed Device Engineer Duties
Assist with SOC Engineer Duties
The following qualifications are required:
Experience as a Unix or Windows or Network System Administrator
Experience with one or more of the following:
TCP/IP networking
Various Intrusion Detection Systems
Various firewall systems
Various scanning systems
General Working knowledge of Information Security concepts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Experience as a member in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to communicate clearly with technical staff as well as less technical colleagues
Ability and willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned
US citizenship required
