Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors in MIS or Computer Science preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of Basis Administration.
* Working experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Validated environments a plus.
* Experienced with R/3 v4.7, APO v3.1, BW v3.0 and Enterprise Portal 6.0.
* At least 2 years experience working with SAP NetWeaver products.
* Experience with one or more SAP implementation life cycles (Upgrade or new installation of R/3, APO, BW and Portals).
* Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills, with demonstrated teamwork and organizational capabilities and time management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple priorities and timely deliverables, concurrently.
* Must be results oriented and adaptable, a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude.
* Technical proficiency in Windows XP, Office 2002, and clear knowledge of various desktop applications.
* Some travel may be required, and overtime is required as dictated by project needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* SAP system monitoring and performance tuning.
* SAP system trouble shooting and problem resolution working in conjunction with the help desk and Process Teams.
* From a Basis perspective, support established business objectives for assigned clients.
* Provide technical support for SAP, APO, BW and Portal developers and configurators.
* Install and upgrade SAP systems. Perform system copies for QA, Sandbox and training systems.
* Support SAP printing, email and fax architectures.
* Maintain ERP integration and support tools.
* Possess strong project management skills including project identification, planning and definition, and ROI.
* Contribute towards the evaluation of new business solutions. Identify projects, lead feasibility studies, and define cost/benefit and economic justification of approved IT projects from all sizes.
* Convert the tactical and strategic business objectives of clients into actionable items, delivering results that enable the business to achieve their goals.
* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of project documentation as defined by the GISMO (SDLC) roadmap.
* Must keep abreast of the current and new technologies and related concepts.
