ABAP Developer - HRIS

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Support the Human Resources (HRIS) ABAP development requirements of Deloitte.
- Responsible for designing, recommending, planning, developing, and implementing department-wide HR solutions to meet the firm requirements.
- Accountable for the successful completion of assigned projects and tasks, along with leading projects and task teams.
- Accountable for efficient
and quality execution to meet department-wide goals and objectives in the most cost effective and client servicing manner, according to established firm-wide and department-wide standards, procedures, and processes.
- Responsible for formulating and recommending technical directions for the Human Resources group in collaboration with other IT organizations.
- Consult with users and project team members to gather, interpret and document development requirements.
- Participate in the building of business plans, strategic directions, standards, processes, and procedures within the scope of Human Resources (HRIS).
- Analyze and communicate issues, problems with respect to above mentioned functional area.
- Participate in team/project meetings and planning of projects.
- Report Status to Management.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems preferred or related fields.
- Minimum of five
(5) years of Information Technology (IT) experience
- Minimum of 3 years of ABAP/JAVA experience in following area required
- SAP Enterprise (version 4.7)? modules;
- Human Resources: (PA, PD, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll and Time Management)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in ABAP/4 programming and SAP toolset, including data dictionary, data interfaces and conversions (RFC, ALE, ALV, IDOCS, BDC, BAPI, LSMW), dialog programming, Reporting, and Performance tuning.
- Prior experience of the following SAP modules/applications will be considered a plus: BSP applications, CRM, Business Warehouse, and/or Portal.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Software development life cycles methodologies required.
- Ability to prioritize, and manage work activities to meet deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and
facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical ability.
