AF Housing Program Management Consultant 5

In this position you will manage, organize, track, and execute housing privatization initiatives.  Your duties will include writing, staffing, coordinating, scheduling, and briefing position papers, memoranda, letters, issues, funding and privatization initiatives.  You will have constant interaction with MAJCOM, OSD, and Air Staff personnel.  This position requires in-depth knowledge of the 1996 Defense Authorization Act, the Family Housing Master Plan (FHMP), the Housing Requirements and Market Analysis (HRMA), MILCON execution policies and procedures, and the Housing Community Plan (HCP).  The position requires you to be familiar with Air Staff/OSD housing privatization functional areas, processes and timelines for notifying OSD and congress.  You will also be required to have a working knowledge of deal structuring, construction, whole-house renovation and requirements, and  budget/obligation requirements.

Experience in the following areas is required:

Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience.
Knowledge of or experience in program management.
Knowledge of Air Force structure.
Excellent oral and writing skills a must.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Experience in the following areas is an asset:

Prior military experience, preferably Air force is desired.
Previous Air Force Housing experience is highly desirable.
DoD or AF management experience.
MAJCOM or Air Staff Pentagon Experience, project management experience.
MS Binder.
