The Systems Administrator is responsible for the management and administration of the AIX/UNIX/Linux components within clients production and development environments. Primary focus will be the support, maintenance and administration of the AIX/UNIX/Linux database and application servers. The Systems Administrator participates in the sizing, construction and implementation phases of the systems development life cycle for medium and large size systems. The Systems Administrator works in a project team environment as a technical support member and assists the lead technical associate on the development team. Primary responsibility will be to work with team members to support and administer our open systems technology. A significant majority of these requirements must be accomplished to meet the overall requirements of the position.

MAJOR DUTIES

AIX/UNIX/Linux Systems Management and Support

EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree or equivalent

2-4 years experience in related field
