ALPM-001

Modis is seeking candidates immediately for a permanent Project Management position at a large software development company in Charlotte, NC. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of project management experience with the software development lifecycle. PMP is not required but is a plus, however a bachelor's degree is required.

The initial project involves building a generic customer care and billing package geared towards cable and broadband companies. It involves taking the "best of breed" products from two recently merged companies, implementing them together, and building new pieces/adding new functionality to the new software package.
This initial project is scheduled to go on for at least 2.5 years.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
-stable work history
-5-7 years project management experience
-Bachelor's Degree
-SDLC within a J2EE Environment
-ability to effectively manage project deadlines and scope creep
-Experience with the "waterfall" method of software development
-proficient in MS Excel
-proficient with MS Project, Visio

The following skills are a large plus:
-Cable Industry experience
-experience with billing software
-PMP Certification
