Accenture?s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

 

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

Project Based individuals provide specialized outsourcing business development and service delivery expertise to support the mobilization efforts associated with Accenture?s outsourcing services to one or multiple clients. People in this workgroup may work on short- to medium-term assignments for up to 18 months and are assigned depending on their capabilities, specialization and their availability to meet the project?s timeline requirements.

 

This position is a member of a development team for Production Support of Ariba Buyer 7.1a.  This team member is responsible for working with our Tier 1 and Tier 2 Customer Support Desk team to understand system issues and provide resolutions.  Resolutions include design, development, and system test of data update scripts and code development in our implementation of Ariba Buyer.

 

In addition to the SIR resolution described above the Ariba Production Support Developer will perform design, development, and system test of Change Requests in the Ariba Buyer application.

 

Qualifications

?  3-5 years of demonstrated design and development experience with Ariba Buyer.  Most recent experience should include development and implementation of Ariba Buyer 7.1a or higher.

? Functional and technical design experience with large scale systems integration efforts of COTS and Custom products.

? Experience developing detailed design specifications and unit test plans.

? Experience using configuration management techniques for Ariba Buyer code.

? Experience with Ariba integration events and heavily customized Ariba Buyer implementations.  Specifically, experience with the AMS federalized version of Ariba Buyer is a plus.

? Experience with Ariba Buyer production support.

? Will require a Government Clearance or the ability to obtain Clearance, US Citizenship required.
