The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

 

Job Description


Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client?s employees or the client?s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. The Technology Infrastructure Outsourcing specialty incorporates a wide range of outsourcing skills that focus on four major areas of IT and technical support: communications, desktop management and mobility, customer support, and hosting.

 

Key responsibilities may include:

 Provide technical support to the ILMS environment which includes, but is not limited to, technical troubleshooting of PeopleSoft, Ariba and e-gate. Query PeopleSoft, Ariba and PD databases to assist in issue resolution. Oversee backups of all databases in Reston and at the client site. Assist in C&A process for ILMS databases, lead State and Accenture team through the effort Participate in scheduled Tech team/deployment/lead meeting(s) 

 

 

Qualifications

 2+ yrs of technical support experience including 1 yr of  hands-on experience operating in an Oracle DBA role 1+ yr Experience with Oracle 8i Parallel Server and/or Oracle 9i RAC architecture 1+ yr Experience with Oracle database backup procedures using Tivoli/RMAN  Must have a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance, US Citizenship Required.  Must be able to work between two separate facilities:  Reston Accenture office and the client site in Rosslyn, VA or Washington DC Typical work hours are 9-5 Monday - Friday. Off hours and/or weekends may be required during certain testing or go-live activities.For Reston database management activities, remote (VPN) access is available for individuals with home broadband connections. 

 

Nice to Have Qualifications

 

?  Experience working with PeopleSoft version 8.4 or higher including PeopleSoft upgrade tools and experience performing development migrations.

?  Experience with PeopleSoft server administration including Web Server, App Server and Process Server administration

?  Oracle Certification
