APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Job Responsibilities:

Member of application developmentsupport team. Responsible for design,
construction, testing and support of a customized Model N software
implementation. Model N is a software application thats used for the creation
and management of commercial contract and government pricing, rebate claim and
chargeback processing. Application developers will focus on configurations,
extensions and customizations to the base Model N product utilizing Model N
development frameworks and toolsets and standard tools such as Java, XML, SQL
and Javascript. Application developers will also be responsible for integration
development, focusing onthe configuration and implementation of inbound and
outbound Model N dataflows leveraging WebMethods as the middleware. Primary
tasks include the creation of the data and information repository, mapping,
technical design, data conversion and testing. The technology in use on this
project is servletbased Java, running on IBM WebSphere Application Server,
using an Oracle database. Model N utilizes a fullfeatured persistence framework
based on XML specifications and implemented in Java. Model N also has a
fullfeatured application component system, alsobased on XML specifications and
implemented in Java.

Job Requirements/Education:

Excellent oral and written communication skills Minimum 7 years of experience
in software development. At least 3 years of handson experience in Java, J2EE
Development experience with Web based technologies, e.g. HTML and XML Minimum 3
years experience working on customerfacing projects Experience in all aspects
of software development life cycle emphasis on applying formal methodologies
Solid experience on UNIX, Linux, MS Windows, and MS Office tools Solid
experience with RDBMS, particularly Oracle and SQL Experience with BEA
Weblogic, Websphere and Cognos Project management experience, a definite plus
Prior experience in Pharmaceuticals or Pricing amp Reimbursement applications a
plus. A passion for quality and customer satisfaction essential Strong spoken
and written English skills BA in Computer Science or related degree desired.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
