AS 400 Programmer Analyst

RHT is in search for a AS400 RPG Programmer for a client that is rapidly expanding their IT department. The primary role of the programmer is to interact with the user community, developers, and technical department to promote information sharing, coordinate enterprise information architecture, develop physical data models, assist in the coordination of development methodologies and tools, and provide data management operations to ensure the security, quality, performance, and accessibility of corporate informational resources. Qualifications :
The right candidate must have 8+ years experience with iSeries AS400 and understands fully the AS400 system architecture. Programming experience in RPG III and RPG IV in an ERP environment., Windows Networking, and CPG Manufacturing/Distribution Industry Experience is highly required. Basic understanding of BPCS 4.05 cd/6.x, SSA Global’s ERP LX, or 8.0 Sterling Gentran or Gentran Integration Suite is preferred. Visual Basic or Java experience is preferred. Self-motivated, team-oriented, customer focused. Quick to adapt to ever-changing needs and priorities Team Lead/Senior level experience.
