We currently have openings for several ASP/C#.NET Developers located in Washington DC and Herndon, VA.

 

Responsible for development, testing and implementation of applications that support Identity Management.

 

Essential Skills:

Under general direction, conceptualizes, designs, constructs, tests, and implements portions of business and technical information, technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology. 

?  Interacts with the customer and/or existing team members to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction.

?  Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects.

 

Technology requirements.

?  Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.

?  Confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the customer.

?  Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.

?  Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems.

?  Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.

?  Prepares system documentation.

?  Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.

?  Participates in special studies, marketing efforts and formal proposals.

?  Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

 

Specific Skills

Experience in .NET development using C# .NET and ASP.  Experience in client application development. 

?  3+ years of experience developing MS Windows applications

?  Developing and using SDK's, API's, ActiveX controls, components, class libraries, DLLs, and web service clients

?  Interfacing with relational databases using ODBC & ADO (SQL/Oracle)

?  Programming experience in C++ and C# with Visual Studio .NET, and some Java

 

Other responsibilities include:

?  Gather and validate application requirements

?  Application coding using .NET language

?  Application testing support

?  Develop implementation plan

?  Implement applications into production

?  Skills and experience in any of the following, a plus:

?  Interfacing with biometric (fingerprints, iris, face recognition) devices and matching software (match-on-server, match-on-client, match-on-card)

?  Personalizing and interfacing with smart cards, including card-edge commands and application interfacing

?  Smart card application development

?  Experience with smart card and biometric standards, and middleware

?  Experience with PKI encryption/decryption, digital signature and digital certificate authentication

?  Developing credential enrollment, identity management, logical & physical access control systems, and identity authentication and authorization

?  Experience with .xml generation and parsing

?  Experience with RFID technology and supply chain management.
