ASP Network Engineer Team Lead

Fundtech Corp. is a leading global provider of electronic payments, cash management and settlement solutions. We are currently looking for an ASP Network Engineer Team Lead for our Norcross, GA office. The Network Engineer Team Lead will provide subject matter expertise for Fundtech's ASP enterprise network infrastructure. This position will be responsible for leading, mentoring, cross-training and developing implementation and trouble-shooting standards for all team members. The Team Lead will direct and guide other engineers to isolate and determine the root cause of network problems. The position will either take corrective actions or guide other teams in issue resolution. The Team Lead will participate and lead in various projects to continually improve the efficiency and security of the network infrastructure. Specific responsibilities include: network engineering/planning, configurations and upgrades, problem identification and resolution of hardware, software, network carrier and security issues.

 

Qualifications/Experience:

? At least 7 years demonstrated experience in engineering/planning/implementation of enterprise-wide global network infrastructure

? CCIE certification preferred

? Strong understanding of networking operating systems, routing protocols, topologies, security, backup/alternate routing and elimination of single points of failure

? Solid experience with network monitoring, testing, analysis, and modeling tools

? Demonstrated experience researching new technologies, tools, and techniques and implementing them into technology environments

? Significant and demonstrated experience with VPN, MPLS, Leased Lines, Gigabit Ethernet, ISDN, BGP, OSPF, Cisco Routers and Switches, Check Point VPN-1/Nokia/Crossbeam, PIX, Load Balancers (Radware/F5)

? Creativity and proven ability to navigate successfully through complex issues and un-charted situations. Out-of-the-box thinking with mature analytical skills are necessary

? 1-2 years experience with leading a technology team

? Strong organizational and time management skills necessary as well as ability to multi-task under pressure to meet deadlines

? Excellent verbal, written, and graphical/presentation communication skills

? Bachelor's degree highly preferred

? Self motivated, goal oriented and meticulous individual, who can adhere to departmental process and procedures and able to work with minimal supervision

? Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities to meet demands of internal and external customers

? Demonstrate ability to contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork through collaborative behavior and open communications

? Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and writing) skills; process-oriented
