The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking an Assistant Systems Administrator to be responsible for the maintenance of the City?s computer server operating systems, disk storage, mail systems, account management and web servers.
Responsibilities include installing, configuring, researching and recommending improvements to current systems and procedures.
Requires BS in computer science or closely related field and at least 3 years experience administering and supporting computer workstations and associated operating systems. Experience must have included 2 yrs. Of experience supporting server-based operating systems and associated systems software. Additional experience may substitute year-for-year for the education requirement. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid FL driver?s license.
