AV Engineer

Position Description:
? Design and build the Audio Video program for Netflix
? Initiating new projects and responsibilities and helping to plan for the future of the site.
? Managing daily operation of a wide variety of systems including high end video conferencing, audio and mixing equipment, video, projection, and lighting equipment.
? Resolving critical system issues on a 24x7 basis, including notification, coordination and dispatch of individuals from various functional groups within the organization.

? Utilizing best practices and the latest available technology, assure that the best possible video conferencing experience is achieved.
? Primary individual responsible for the set up, monitoring, operation, and breakdown of basic to high end video conferencing, audio and mixing equipment, video, projection, and lighting equipment.
? Primary support for the Theater System in the new building which facilitates executive meetings, company wide town hall meetings and meetings with three or more remote offices
? Expertise in video conferencing systems such as Polycom and Tandberg a MUST.
? Intimate knowledge of video bridges and gateways.
? Knowledge and experience working with low voltage cabling, A/V Cabling, installation, pulling wire, maintaining A/V equipment such as ceiling or wall mounted screens, projectors, equipment racks and electronic white boards, LCD projectors, ISDN and IP video connectivity, video switching equipment, audio equipment, Crestron touch panels, PC?s, VCR's / DVD's, etc.
? Familiarity with control system programming using Crestron tools: Viewport, SystemBuilder, SIMPL Windows, and VTPro-e
? Documenting layouts using block connectivity drawings / schematics in AutoCAD or Visio
? Ability to re-configure A/V equipment to support needed demands on short notice.
? Must have proven A/V experience from a technologically-advanced company.
? Must have a passion for Audio-Video
? Great attention to detail organization and excellent follow up skills are necessary.
? Computer and network skills are expected.
? AV industry training and certifications (ICIA, NSCA, CEDIA, ISF, SYN AUD CON all a plus).
Required Background:
? A minimum 7-10 years of Audio Video design and support in a lead position.
? Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
