One of our clients is looking for an Abinitio developer/administrator for a position in FL.The job description is as follows:

 

H/W and S/W environment and configuration.
Architecture of Ab Initio and it?s Co>Operating system.
Ab Initio Sandbox, Project and EME
Configuring the GDE
All the Ab Initio components with available options.
Ab Initio?s partitioning concept and schemes.
Multifile creation, usage, deletion, permission, data partition, control file, repair inconsistencies.
Writing xfr, creating dml
Tuning the graph.
Design graph with proper partitioning, departitioning, layouts, phases, checkpoints and avoid deadlock situations.
Different approaches to design a graph for optimal performance.
Debugging graphs.
Improve performance with the help of tracking information.
Identifying and writing common components for projects.
Guide developer in case of production failure, fixes and patches.
Generate DMLs for source and target tables.

Preferred skills or knowledge:

UDB/DB2/IMS Database logs captured by Ab Initio.
EME Architecture and Tasks:
Logging in and navigating
Dependency analysis
Basic EME commands to check the locks, object versions, tagged versions.
Restore graph/object/project from previous tagged/untagged version in the EME.
Create new projects, steward common and steward group common projects.
Creating sandbox parameters for projects, steward common and steward group common projects.
Parameter overrides.
Clone projects from existing projects.
Delete projects / objects.
Adding custom directories/files to projects.
Break, release and reset locks on objects/graphs.
Resolve conflicts caused by different versions of objects.
Manage tracking information within EME
Migration and baselining the code.
Maintaining versions of project with the aid of tags.
Splitting projects based on size and requirement.
Web Interface.
Impact analysis and Dependency analysis.
Graph differences

Find versions.
