A fast growing local franchisor, ranked #1 in our category by Entrepreneur Magazine, is looking for an individual with heavy experience in MS Access programming and also capable of managing a complete network. We have only 25 employees and will grow to 40 over the next few years. As a small company, we are not a good fit for a large corporate IT individual. Our Access Programmer/ IT director must be capable of not only maintaining our extensive Access database but also ordering hardware, setting up PC?s, managing a LAN, ensuring proper software use and backup procedures, managing external programmers and living within a small company budget.

 

We use Microsoft?s Navision software as our ERP platform in addition to MS Access as our database platform. The ideal Access Programmer/ IT Director must be experienced in both of these products

 

We provide a competitive annual base salary along with a profit sharing bonus plan and a company benefit package for individuals with 5 plus years of well rounded experience

 

Our company uses offshore web programmers to develop and implement our extensive website needs. Our Access Programmer/ IT Director is a stand alone position at present but must be capable of managing a department as our needs require additional personnel. The ideal Access Programmer/ IT Director will be an expert MS Access programmer and be capable of handling all aspects of technology from establishing internal email addresses, running Cat 5 cable for a new PC, negotiating annual contracts with external programmers, answering questions from employees on software use and constructing a 5 year IT plan for the company?s growth.
