Actimize Developer

Actimize Developer Description: Work for a leading financial giant in the big apple! This company is looking for a very talented, senior-level developer to:


Perform data analysis

Design and develop ETL for Compliance Trading Surveillance database

Perform level 2-3 support

Enhance/maintain existing ETL code

Perform database work (must have Actimize experience)



The ideal candidate will be interested in pursuing full time work following this contract engagement as there is a possible opportunity to convert to full time following the completion of this assignment.



This is an estimated 10 month (w/right to hire) contract position through Volt Services Group, a member of the Volt family of companies and a publicly traded, nationally recognized leader in providing staffing and information services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following skills/experience:

5-10 years related industry experience

ETL Development (experience working with Actimize is REQUIRED)

Knowledge of Capital Markets Data (Securities, Accounts, Market Data, Trades, Positions, etc.)

Solid RDBMS and SQL skills (Sybase and UDB preferred)

Data Analysis & Integration

Full Life Cycle Systems Development

Strong Systems Testing Skills

Strong Communication Skills

A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Other key areas of knowledge: Operational Data Stores, Data Warehousing, Metadata Management and Data Quality
