Active Directory Administrator

Our Information Technology team is seeking a Active Directory Administrator to manage the efficient operation of the Windows NT systems. This responsibility includes user support, hardware and software trouble shooting, and data and network security.  The key individual in this role will have both tactical and strategic responsibilities.TracFone is the industry leading prepaid, MVNO  and our team is on the cutting edge of technology, looking for innovative ways to enhance and improve systems and performance. The primary role of this position will be maintain high availability of the Windows NT LAN environment that includes the following:
Domain Controllers
File/Print/Web Servers
WebMail
Blackberry
Exchange Servers

 

Responsibilities also include:
Migration of environment to Windows 2000 Active Directory.
Administer Exchange 5.5/2000 Clustering and redundancy.
Installation, maintenance and support of systems/users in a Citrix XP environment.
Participate in large scale projects, rollouts, upgrades, and new software.
Configure and deploy new servers locally, administer to achieve 24X7 availability, file system management, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Work with other support teams to include the Unix, WAN and Development support groups, and provide guidance and prioritizing over NT administrator responsibilities.
The role will also will have leadership responsibilities. for Junior NT and Server Applications Administrators.

 

 

Requirements:
Seven or more IT industry experience.
5 or more years experience in supporting servers in a network environment.
Two or more years Citrix Metaframe/Winframe administration.
Seven or more years NT server administration
At least seven years experience with Intel based hardware.,
Previous experience with distributed systems environment.
End-user support required.
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field.
