Administrative Support Specialist-Tier III

This is a 3 month contract with possible extensions.

 

Responsibilities include:

 


Assist the Travel and Expense Admin with any reporting or application issue that may come up in reference to their Expense software


Some of these issues might be: reports are not transferred to SAP, reports are not populating correctly


Oracle 9i experience to navigate the database and troubleshoot issues, reporting is done in Cognos but it does link to Oracle so knowledge of how database works and how to navigate them  to troubleshoot why data is not pulling correctly, also need Server administration knowledge to be able to navigate a server and view error logs - troubleshoot batch files and errors that might come up in logs


Assist HR with any questions on data flow and issues with Outlook Forms


MS SQL server experience, SQL query experience to search for bad records and delete or fill out incomplete records in the database that the Outlook forms are referencing


MS Excel, MS Access experience - be able to link tables to external database, create relationships in Access and create queries, also will need server experience to upload file, run batch job and check error logs


Maintain interface files between servers


Server admin skills with some knowledge on security and share permissions, basic troubleshooting skills

Must understand database design and data flow.
Experience with NT 4.0/W2k/2003 Server, troubleshooting errors and logs within NT Server
Responsible for maintaining the database, some troubleshooting
Need to know how data flows and links into tables
Ability to write SQL statements to pull data

 

Desired skills are Concur and or another travel expense type application
