Advisory Consultant Product Management

Advisory Consultant, Product Management are responsible for activities related to development and support of the products that they are assigned. Advisory Consultant, Product Management are expected to already maintain a thorough understanding of those products. Each individual will provide client assistance to answer questions in addition to providing high-level troubleshooting assistance for application related issues. Advisory Consultant, Product Management are expected to be able to clearly identify application related problems and to know when to escalate issues that impact the client's normal processing. The Advisory Consultant, Product Management also possesses a firm understanding of how to coordinate internal resources in order to solicit assistance in identifying/resolving production issues. Will also be responsible for writing requirements, writing and implementing test plans, and coordinating activities to remain aware of industry related changes. Builds Service to Excellence - responsible for diagnosing problems. Follow calls through to resolution. Interacts with clients at levels ranging up to senior management in a professional manner. Implements corrective actions and problem resolution. Informs clients of system enhancements via various communication methods. Processes all client requests on a timely basis. Logs all client events into the Remedy system and updates all open items within 24 hours. Interacts with various Internal Departments. Operates as a team player. Provides proper research documentation to other departments when troubleshooting issues that cross departments. Provides assistance in training other associates. Responsible for P special projects. Responsible for inter-departmental assignments. Schedules and organizes client training, audits, and demos as needed. Researches issues and system interactions to develop complete requirements for moderate to complex enhancements, i.e., multiple components and project related. Writes and executes test plans for moderate to complex enhancements and coordinates with Quality Assurance. Remains aware of pending industry related changes and participates in industry advisory groups as needed. Delivers on time performance. Maintains a willingness to work flexible hours. Mains proper management of overall attendance.



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of education/training/experience. Strong knowledge of Brokerage industry knowledge - 5 to 7 years or equivalent. Strong knowledge of the ADP applications and extensive business knowledge of the brokerage industry, specifically as it relates to the assigned applications. 5 to 7 years or equivalent knowledge of Microsoft Applications. Demonstrates strong people skills. Demonstrates strong problem solving and prioritization skills. Maintains a strong ability to adapt to clients changing needs and wants, within a widely varied client base. Strong ability to negotiate conflict situations into positive solutions.
