Assignment

The candidate will fill a critical second level support role focused on providing support for planogram software, sales reporting and analytics for corporate, field sales and wholesaler personnel.

 

Primary Responsibilities

1) Receive end-user call escalations related to the Retail Shelf Merchandising and SMART applications from 1st level hotlines and sales and marketing departments.

2) Research problems to identify issues and work with technical resources as necessary.

3) Perform data validation and operational support for Retail Shelf Merchandising and SMART data sources.

4) Carry a pager and laptop and respond to after-hour pages as part of an on-call support team.

5) Work on various special projects to support Marketing & Selling Systems.

 

General Qualifications

Degree Preference: Bachelor of Science in related field.

 

Required General Skills

1) Excellent problem solving skills; Strong data analysis skills.

2) Knowledge of Retail Beverage Industry Preferred.

3) Self starter; ability to perform assignments without the need to have a lot of guidance, but recognizes when assistance is needed and seeks it out.

4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5) Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at once.

 

Required Technical Skills

1) Analyst-Application Development - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel).

2) Relational database knowledge and experience, preferably Oracle and Teradata - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

3) Query Language (SQL) knowledge - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

4) MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel) - Intermediate with 2 year(s) experience.

 

Preferred Technical Skills

1) Knowledge of JDA Space Planning Software or other third party planogram software (Intactix suite a plus, i.e., IKB, EIA, Automation, etc.) - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.

2) Business Objects experience -ability to modify/create reports - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.

3) MapInfo Professional - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.

4) IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.

5) Experience using 3rd party call tracking software - Novice with 1 year(s) experience.
