The Business/Configuration Analyst is an intermediate level responsible for application support and development for a business unit or multiple business units including sales, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, store operations, finance or human resources.   Position Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination of technical resources necessary to implement solutions for complex business requirements.
Determines technical solutions to meet business requirements detail system design, analyzing the jobs/programs needed to be written or revised.
Code programs by utilizing applicable languages and processes in a batch/on-line environment. 
Utilizes test plans and tools to ensure programs are thoroughly tested before they are installed.  Apply and the appropriate tools and languages, which are needed to modify a business application.
Collaborate with more senior team members on problem analysis including: determining the cause, possible solutions, and implementation and communication of the final solution.
Communicates within team and with business users by various correspondences (memos, e-mail, and voicemail) to convey project/assignment status and information in terms clear to business and technical users.
A technical resource for the team and assists in setting the standards and guidelines for existing and new technologies.  Learns new and emerging technologies and assists in implementing them.
By understanding the overall flow of the business supported, is responsible for specific application areas and applies that knowledge to assigned projects.  In addition, shares application/business knowledge with other IT and business associates.

Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering preferred

2 - 5 years experience required.

Technical skills and experience in RPGLE.

Functional knowledge of business unit supported preferred.
