Analyst, Principal Decision Support

This position will be required to analyze and resolve routine to complex system, relational database and application problems or opportunities within SAP Business Warehouse (BW) environment. This includes providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing reporting solutions. This position will lead BW projects and participate in cross-functional IT teams to address business or system requirements and/or issues. This includes requirements gathering, communicating requirements to the BW Developer team, report generation, documentation, and dissemination. Additionally, this position will perform system support activities including maintenance or creation or maintaining of application code, processing routines or procedures and report generators. The analyst is expected to adhere to development, maintenance and system operations standards. This position also will be representing Callaway Golfs IT department to all levels of the Company, including Senior Staff and International offices. Accordingly, professionalism, a sense of ownership and responsibility as well as extraordinary communication is not only required but imperative to the success of this position.

Requirements:

Qualifications include proficiency with SAP Business Warehouse with a focus on report definition and development. Strong project management skills. Expert level skills in system debugging, performance monitoring and tuning. Extensive experience in Data Modeling. Extensive experience with aggregating, transforming and validating the data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Multi-task on projects with the ability to prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate superior understanding of BW strategies and concepts. Demonstrate superior conceptual reasoning and discretionary judgment. 5+ years relevant IT experience. Development and maintenance of enterprise BW solutions and information delivery. Experience with a variety of staffing models to complete projects. Experience leading and mentoring a development team. Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent work experience required. Strong interpersonal skills. Lead architect on one or more production quality reporting solutions. Establishing processes for maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the ongoing success and applicability of the Warehouse.
