Duties/Responsibilities:

? Provide consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds Sovereign?s standards.

? Responsible for answering calls from users, assisting them with problems, entering problems into help desk system, and escalating critical issues.

? Logging and tracking requests for assistance including PC problems and voice equipment issues.

? Diagnosing, evaluating, and prioritizing requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, application software, NT operating software, networking, and other computer-related issues.

? Escalating complex problems with software, hardware, and LAN/WAN networking to next level support for problem resolution.

? Dispatch field service resources as needed for hardware repairs.

? Research, resolve, and follow-up on routine user problems.

? Other duties as assigned or requested.

 

Qualifications:

Successful candidate must have high school diploma; Proficiency with Windows NT, 2000, XP, MS Office applications, and MS Outlook/Exchange, extensive troubleshooting in Internet Explorer; Experience with NAI Magic Solutions Help Desk and other Windows based software a plus; Some understanding of LAN/WAN, windows user environments and troubleshooting desktops, laptop PC?s, and peripherals required; Understanding of printer configuration, SQL, Access DB; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Some previous experience working in a technical support or customer service role; Ability to Multi-task; Team player; This position is required to work every other Saturday.
