Application Architect (J2EE)

J2EE MVP needed!

Our client has a highly visible and mission critical need for one of their most important applications. The system, used by hundreds of internal users requires efficiency and elegance in one neat little J2EE bundle. That's where you come in...they're seeking a talented J2EE architect with proven professional experience defining, designing and leading implementations of truly successful and highly optimized J2EE based enterprise solutions. Due to the visibility and exposure of this role the opportunity to leverage this into the Enterprise Architecture team most definitely exists.

Here's what they've GOT TO HAVE:

- Proven professional experience Architecting enterprise applications.

- Heavy J2EE background (JSP, EJB, JDBC, etc.)

- Strong XML/XSL/XSLT especially within the presentation layer.

- Application Server experience (WebSphere or Weblogic preferred).

- Strong Application performance tuning experience!

- Excellent interface skills (with Users, Developers and I.T. Management).

- Business requirements gathering, needs analysis and definition.

What would be awesome is:

- JBoss experience.

- Experience mentoring/transitioning organizations to more structured development principles/ practices.
