Application Designer

Application Designer - Tucson, AZ

 

1. Provide application support for healthcare applications by trouble-shooting and resolving complex application problems.
2. Implement software application packages.
3. Assist in the management, and execution of projects, either as a lead or assigned resource.
4. Document application usage and operation processes.
5. Maintain lines of communication with the end-user.
6. Work as a member of a team, to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

Candidate must be experienced with systems documentation including operating instructions, program documentation, system capabilities analyses and development controls.

Experience in materials management application support or business process knowledge is preferred.

Experience with Meditech applications (2-3 modules) is preferred.

Knowledge/understanding of the project cycle if preferred.

Detail-oriented, able to organize, adjust and prioritize responsibilities accordingly. Excellent communication skills.

Essential education
College degree or equivalent experience. Either a MCP, A+, Network+, Project+, SQL, or other technical certification is preferred

Required Skills:
* 4+ yrs I/T application support.
* 2+ yrs Meditech application support on 2 or more modules.
