Support the existing applications and developing new ones for the credit department of a commodities trading firm. Responsibilities include interfacing w/ our credit department., application development, testing, global deployment and support.

Skills / Competencies:

Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work both independently and with a team. Requires basic organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong full life cycle development experience is desired. Proficiency in .NET C#, Java, SQL, XML SOAP and OOD. Knowledge of financial instruments and credit exposure required.

Degrees / Experience:

B.A. or equivalent degree
Minimum 2-3 years solid experience developing in .NET C# and Java.
Minimum 3-6 years experience in relational database design and implementation. MS SQLServer and Oracle knowledge preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years experience in financial industry, preferably in a commodities trading firm
