Application Development Analyst - Systems Migration



Assignment

Must be a self starter. Manage incoming requests and resources. Familiarity with SOX standards. Manage daily workload, assess priorities and report progress. Ability to work with minimal direction, taking high level system requirements and translating those requirements into specific solutions. Interpersonal skills for interaction with IT development, support staff, project team and customers, which includes end users. Possess excellent writing skills for technical and non-technical documents. Ability to learn details of existing and new systems. Willingness and ability to support the systems. Work with development manager to plan releases based on priorities and resource availability.



Primary Responsibilities

1) Experience in system development, design, and business analysis, utilizing n-Tier design, multiple project management.

2) Awareness of basic IT principles: requirements analysis, scope management, software configuration mgmt, system design techniques (process & data modeling), application of proper development tools, testing (unit, integration, system, acceptance).

3) Track project progress in order to communicate status.

4) Design and estimate solutions for new features or complex issues.

5) Provide support to customer which includes researching production issues, data resolution and interaction with end users for problem resolution.



Required General Skills

1) Experienced in systems migration.

2) Monitoring development team's progress.

3) Lead a team of developers to develop new systems to track contracted media, payments against contracts, financial analysis and reporting.

4) Ensure quality of application by evaluating documented requirements as well as working through unit testing to resolve bugs.

1) Analyst-Application Development - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.

2) Project Management - Expert with 4 year(s) experience.

3) Analyst-Production Support - Expert with 5 year(s) experience.



Preferred Technical Skills

1) Architect-Technical - Intermediate with 3 year(s) experience.

2) Developer-.NET C# - Expert with 4 year(s) experience.

3) Developer-SQL - Expert with 4 year(s) experience.
