Application Server Client Engineer

Our Fortune 500 client designs, deploys and administers enterprise-level, redundant, high-volume, e-commerce application infrastructures for some of America's best known and largest retailers. Under the Unix umbrella, technologies for each client typically include a subset of Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Oracle, DB2, ATG Dynamo, Weblogic, Websphere etc. usually running on Sun HP or IBM gear, plus the typical array of SAN solutions.



We are running a search for a Client Engineer who offers exceptionally strong experience with one or more of the following application servers: weblogic, websphere, atg dynamo. The support of one or more of these applications should be in the context of high traffic, enterprise level, n-tier, production environments. A candidate will also need to have a solid understanding of at least some of the following associated technologies: Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux, Oracle, DB2, Apache, SunOne. Top troubleshooting skills and past experience in high volume environments are especially important requirements.



The Client Engineer will have significant interaction with customers and needs to be articulate, calm, easy to work with and reliable. Additionally, a history of job stability is required. Candidates should have worked a minimum of 2.5 years in one of his or her last three jobs. All references will be checked and should be solid.

Pay is 115k ? 130k (depending on experience) plus 10% bonus and a wide range of benefits.
