Application Support Consultant

Synectics has an opening in Northfield, IL. An Application Support Consultant is needed to learn the support methodology and provide assistance in ticket resolution and support of an on-line application in the Centralized Client Support queue, specifically the application to be supported is a Mercury ITG software. But as time allows, other applications or CCS support may include but is not limited to iBuy, Procuri, eStrategy, CTS2, and Prism.
The consultant will aid team members in support trend analysis of ticket issues for Mercury (a.k.a. Greenroom), usage and performance metrics reporting and analysis. The consultant will provide assistance with documentation and business process analysis of support knowledge, business practices, training, metric analysis and communication documentation as directed across all applications and processes supported by the group. The consultant may be called upon to help review and administer training materials for global user base for the procurement areas of need (user guides, tips and tricks, training curriculum - new user and advanced, job aids).
Qualifications:
- Experience with Ariba iBuy highly desired
- Help desk and application support experience
