Due to significant business growth, we are currently adding an Incentive Compensation Management System Configurer and Developer to our Hartford, CT location.

Job Responsibilities:

? Responsible for project activities from analysis through successful implementation of system enhancements. Responsibilities include:  system design, software specification and/or configuration, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.

? Work with various system analyst, development and QA teams to provide input to project activities and issues.

? Provide expertise to internal customers in application function/features, configurations, and processes accommodated by the system.

? Coordination of execution of system schedule and processing to execute complex data integration, compensation calculation, and downstream data feeds.

? Identify and resolve product and project issues, working with both local and remote vendor support

? Interpret requirements into system design and configuration

? Write, test, and document code and configuration.

? Evaluate and modify system design and configuration to improve overall system performance.

Evaluate and modify system as necessary to support business needs





Qualifications:
 Knowledge of configuration, tuning, and administration of ICM or other complex vendor product
Familiar with industry technical standards or patterns and the limitations of the standards
 Knowledge of automated and regression testing a preferred but not required.
 General knowledge of Autosys or other job scheduling technology
 General knowledge of Unix, scripting, and/or Perl
 General knowledge of Application Server skills, (Websphere, Weblogic or similar)
General knowledge of Relational Databases, including data modeling, SQL, security, schemas, and database objects preferred (Oracle strongly preferred)
Experience handling change management, multiple environments, and testing of complex  systems
 Large enterprise-wide software development experiences.
Willingness to provide some off-hours production support and maintenance activities.
Effective communications with all levels of internal customers and staff
 Able to lead walk through of design/configuration documents
Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 Exposure to web application architectures and technologies, security protocols, network protocols, authentication, directory servers, single sign-on products, and access control will be a plus
