PAY GRADE/SALARY RANGE: 04/$40,000.00 ? OPEN**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Business or related field and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Business or related field and six years of appropriate experience. 

 Note:  The Applications Development Manager is responsible for establishing standards and techniques for improving the applications development processes and monitoring to insure compliance for Student Administration and Financial.  Student Administration and Financial modules include Financial Aid, Student Financial, Academic Structure, Academic Advising Admissions/ Recruitment, Campus Community and Student Records.  Other responsibilities include designing revising and general maintenance of the application development process to met the University requirements.  Serves as a facilitator to interface their modules to other EIT or University software solutions.

 

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

 Supervisory experience and ability to plan and control projects; Ability to communicate effectively in dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers; Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Student Administration and Financial Modules; Knowledge at the expert level of current techniques and hardware capabilities of a large scale computing environment; and Ability to understand, and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations, and general methods of applications software development methodologies and techniques.
