Applications Programmer

Hickory Farms is seeking to fill the position of Applications Programmer in our MIS Department.  Responsibilities include the development, programming, and analytical support for various new and ongoing projects.

 

A Bachelor?s degree is desired, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Information Systems, with four or more years of software system design and analysis.  Experience and understanding of business concepts and procedures coupled with the ability to integrate technology solutions into business processes and at least two years? experience in MS SQL 2000, VB.NET, OOPS CONCEPTS is required.  This position will also work with reporting platforms such as Crystal Decisions and Crystal Reports.  Must be able to work in a team environment and have strong oral and written communication skills.
