Applications Support Analyst (2005831)
Summary: Provide application support, troubleshooting and isolation and resolution of issues related to but not limited to the Dendrite Home Office Products. Will work directly with clients to resolve client specific tasks as well as data related projects.
Responsibilities:
60% Performs somewhat complex billable application work, including support and production control of the supported Dendrite Applications, such as the Home Office Suite. Primary Client Support Point of Contact Answer client questions on product usage and respond to client reported defects and enhancement requests. Issue prioritization, classification and escalation as required. Issue management through Dendrite Call tracking system Communicate regular status updates to the client and client team. Conduct client Conference calls/Meetings. Provide status reports to the client and client team
20% Facilitates resolution of non-complex client problems in assigned product areas: Performs problem resolution verification (bugs/enhancements). Updates customer and group leader on problem resolution status. Works with development to explain reported verified problem resolution to programmers. Assists in testing problem resolution fixes. Major field force restructure.
10% Assists in supporting somewhat complex installations via telephone or on-site.
10% Participates in internal projects, user conference workshops, inter-departmental communications, product support systems etc.
Knowledge/Skills Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong knowledge in UNIX, SQL(Oracle), Shell scripting, Windows Knowledge of C++/C#, NET, VB awk and Perl a plus.
Other Attributes/Soft Skills General awareness of business issues as they impact overall system operation and implementation. Strong initiative, hardworking, focused and able to work through complex business and technical issues.
Education: Bachelor's degree or a degree from an accredited technical institution (Chubb, Stevens etc)
Experience: Requires 18 mos. to 3 years experience.
