ArcSDE DBA
We have an immediate need for an Arc SDE DBA to join us for work in Kansas City at a Federal agency. The work is very long term and secure.
Requirements:
Installation and configuration of ArcSDE on SQL Server 2000
ArcSDE Geodatabase Administration, including monitoring SDE activities, connections, creating roles, assigning permissions, compression techniques and data loading
ArcSDE troubleshooting and monitoring using SDE command line interface
ArcSDE database optimization and tuning
Managing a versioned geodatabase, multi-user editing, including designing workflow and monitoring versioned performance
Experience with ArcMap, data conversion, projections, mosaic, edge matching and raster data
Experience with ArcSDE system tables and their relationship with business tables, analyzing SDE log files and configuring dbtune table and giomgr.defs.
SQL Server database administration (DBA) standard functions (e.g. installation, establish databases, backup, restore, performance monitor/tune, security administration)
SQL Server Stored Procedures and triggers
SQL Server * Database tuning and optimization
SQL Server * Scheduling and Monitoring Jobs
Good Communication Skills (speaking and written)
