Architect/Senior Tech Lead in a growing IT department!

Position Title: Architect/Sr.Technical Lead

Reports to: Director of E-Commerce

 

Description:

This individual is responsible for:

Designing and implementing technical solutions based on our .Net/XML architecture for our eCommerce and B2B applications.



The Design, Development and Implementation of fixes, enhancements and upgrades to the UI of eCompass



Creation and Implementation of coding standards



Review of code developed by outsourced teams



Coordinate offshore development resources





 

Technical Requirements: .Net, XML, C#, SQL, MS Active Directory/ADAM and MS Visual Source Safe. Experience coding for high volume, highly transactional applications. Experience developing and managing development resources for development within a Portal environment utilizing user Authorization and Authentication security architecture.



 

General requirements: BS and MS in engineering, IT or related field or equivalent experience with at least 5 years solid experience developing applications. Outstanding communication skills. This position requires communicating with both technical resources and the business across all Westcon Group divisions world wide. This is as big a must have as the above technical requirements.
